The Freudian Equation

One great thing i've learnt this day,
For i've doubted before.
What Love ever was,
Or whether it twinkles not.

To find it by Fate's guided hand,
Questions answered yet not understand,
T'was only when Love was lost,
That thou shall know, whether Love ever was.

Hence this life filled to a brim,
Before the age of thirty five,
Old as seventy it seems,
Has achieve its cycle of strive.

One by one, the equations are cast,
Until no more a man in an empty shell,
but th' spirit unbound.
